Prosthetic Liners and Silicone Sleeves in Tunisia

Silicone, polyurethane or copolymer
Silicone liners are durable and easy to clean for active users. Polyurethane distributes pressure well for bony or sensitive limbs. Soft mineral-oil copolymer suits fragile skin. Our prosthetists select the material for your anatomy.
Transtibial and transfemoral liners
A transtibial liner generally uses a distal pin lock or suction. A transfemoral liner is often combined with an expulsion valve to create a vacuum. Cure Care supplies Ossur, Ottobock and Bionest liners in a full range of sizes.
Care and service life
Wash the liner daily with neutral soap and air-dry it. Average service life is 3 to 6 months depending on use. Worn liners can cause irritation and loss of suspension; Cure Care checks them at follow-up visits.
Volume socks and prosthetic socks
Residual-limb volume changes through the day and during the first months after amputation. Volume socks compensate for these changes. Our prosthetists teach you how to adjust ply count for an optimal fit.
